🧑🏫 Tip of the Week: Must Know Utility Trio
Clement Chu, showed us the trio of units have the possibility to dominate the ladder on launch with their built in Wound (heal cut), Shred (armor shred) & Sunder (magic resistance reduction).
3 Storyweaver summons a Kayle, whom you can equip with the Talisman of Aid, granting that 30% Shred and Sunder. With 2 Bruiser and easy path to build into Rakan (strongest unit in the game), this trio can be the cornerstone to any mixed damage composition: 4 Sage, 8 Bruiser, Bard Reroll, Ghostly etc…

🚨Milala Wins the Set 10 World Championship
Image via TFT X
TFT history was made in Set 11 and we may never see it again. Milala started off Set 10 by winning the Vegas Open. From there, he dominated TFT globally by placing 1st at the K/DA Cup, 3rd at MSI, 31st at Heartsteel Cup, and 2nd at the Regional Finals.
As if this wasn’t enough, he went one step further by winning the Remix Rumble World Championship. With three major victories in a single set, Milala had earned the prestige of the best performance in a single set in TFT history.
Milala’s dominance at the World Stage has shown a level of consistency in TFT that has never been reached by another competitor. He ends the set with three 1st Place finishes and five Top 3 finishes.
I had the chance to sit down with Milala for an extended interview to learn about his history in the game and how he went from being North America’s choker to North America’s champion.

Frodan, wrote a Post-Day 1 PBE Tournament Tier List and Meta summary

NA brought EXCUSES
Regions: CN >> EMEA > NA > LATAM = BR. 6 out of the 8 players in CN advanced and the region dominated.

🚨Competitive TFT Global Changes
On March 13, Riot announced a number of changes to the competitive format for Set 11. North America, Brazil, and LATAM have now been consolidated to all compete in the same region (Americas), while Japan, Korea, OCE and SEA form Asia Pacific (APAC).
Riot implemented these changes to create a greater sense of uniformity in how regions compete and qualify for Worlds (renamed to the Tactician’s Crown).
EMEA, APAC and the Americas will all follow the format of three cups throughout the set followed by a regional finals. Due to the size of the player base and nature of China’s bifurcated mobile and desktop competitive scene, their structure is largely unchanged.

😈 Raidboss Thresh
This composition only works if you have the Raidboss augment. The goal is to try and slow roll at lvl 6 and 7 for Thresh 3 and ideally Shen and Yorick 3.
In the Early game, Try to run a strong early game with Heavenly, Umbral or Inkshadow. This way you have an easier time transitioning into more Behemoths. Don’t be afraid to slam an early Redemption, Gargoyle Stoneplate and Dragon’s Claw for tempo.
In the Mid game, try to itemise Kindred as a placeholder for your late game carry. Blue Buff and Gunblade will make sure the Kindred will kill a few units and keep your frontline alive!
Try to level to lvl 6 or 7 as soon as you can while keeping a comfortable amount of gold (40-50).After a majority of your frontline is 2 starred, slow roll to 50 gold till you hit Thresh 3.
Thresh actually shares a part of his resistances with his allies AND deals damage. Combined with a Syndra who is ramping up in the back or an Alune bursting the backline, the minor increase in AP from Titan’s Resolve and the resistances from the Raidboss augment, he will turn into a immorta, monster and will lock the entire enemy team up in his lantern!
