INTRODUCTION
If this is your first time reading, welcome to the Hyper Roll. ðŸ‘‹

This is the only TFT Newsletter dedicated to giving you all the TFT resources you’ll need to improve your game, climb the ladder, and stay up to date on all things competitive TFT.

In this email…

  • 📈 Learn the 14.3b meta

  • 📼 See some very questionable fight RNG

  • 😈 Unleash the King Crab composition

LEARN
📈 It’s time to climb on 14.3b

We’re in the home stretch now! The final few patches will focus more on making small adjustments to the game rather than large, sweeping changes. Because of that, 14.3 is relatively similar to 14.2. However, there are a few changes that we want to cover. That said, there was a B Patch to 14.3 released just yesterday. Scroll down for specific changes to the b patch.

Anyway, as always, we did our homework so you don’t have to. Here are the BEST resources for learning patch 14.3.

Still feel like you’re missing something? Here are the 7 best performing compositions this patch in Master+. (And the preferred headliner)

  • Jazz Lucian (Flexible Headliner)

  • Annie Reroll (Emo > Spellweaver)

  • Jinx Reroll (Rapidfire > Punk)

  • K/DA Ahri (K/DA > Spellweaver)

  • Lulu Reroll (Hyperpop > Spellweaver)

  • Pentakill Karthus (Pentakill > Executioner/Edgelord/Etc)

  • Disco Twisted Fate (Disco > Dazzler/Sentinel)

CLIPS

📼 Clip of the Week:
The Dumbest Ezreal

We have seen some pretty questionable fight RNG, but this one hits different. You can feel the visceral reaction from Setsuko when his Ezreal decides to…well, you should just watch it.

If you’ve got clips, we want to see them. Send us an email or DM Gangly or CLE with a clip you’d like to see featured in the next edition.

🚨B-Patch is LIVE

The TFT team comes through once again with a much needed B-Patch to fix some things are broken, but will not shift the meta very much.

Over the last couple patches, a few bugs have surfaced that have been easily abusable and game warping. Scrappy Inventions has been brought back to earth and 2 other augments that have been broken are disabled (one in a good type of broken, one is just actually broken.)

This B-Patch brought us a new bug that was discoverd really quickly and is already fixed.

All of this to say, the TFT Dev team is the G.O.A.T.

🚨Rereplay wins the Heartsteel Cup

The Set 8 World Champion is back on top!

Rereplay has won the Heartsteel Cup with a dominating Day 4 performance. Despite having no bonus points going into the final day, Rereplay averaged a 2.57 across 7 games to clinch a 3 point lead over everyone else in the field, including the four players with 3 point bonuses.

With this win, Rereplay has qualified for the North American Regional Finals and will be playing for another shot at a World Championship spot.

The Hearsteel Cup also determined the remaining 23 playing alongside Rereplay at Regionals. Here are those players and how they qualified.

💡 Player Spotlight - Rereplay

Set 10 AVP: 4.05
Set 10 Top 4 Rate: 52%
Set 10 1st/8th Rate: 26%

Notable Results:

Set 10: Heatsteel Cup - 1st
Set 9: Regional Finals - 6th
Set 8: World Championship - 1st
Set 8: NA Regionals - 2nd

🚨 REREPLAY IS NOT A FRAUD 🚨

Rereplay was the first North American World Champion. Rereplay popped up seemingly out of nowhere in Set 8, finishing in the final lobby of nearly every event before taking 1st in the Monsters Attack! World Championship.

After his World Championship run, Rereplay had a strong Set 9, just barely falling short in the Regional Finals to end his set. In Set 10, Rereplay had a shockingly early exit in the K/DA Cup with a 61st place finish.

However, Rereplay has once again shown that he deserves his spot as one of the best North American TFT players. He’ll be competing in the Regional Finals on March 23 - 25.

DARK TECH
😈 UrGOD Reroll

Mosher Reroll is some of the most fun you can have on the current patch.

Last patch, 14.2, Urgot got a rework that made him one of the best units in the whole game. He now deals 50% bonus damage if his spell only hits 1 target, allowing him to DESTROY in late fight 1v1s.

Playing this comp with a headliner Mosher Urgot is a must for the lobby win. Rerolling on 7 is the best way to get those upgraded units and find the headliner you are looking for. As soon as you find the ideal urgot, get that 3 star and go to 8 as soon as possible.

If you are able to cap around Yorick with a Pentakill splash, this comp will stomp every fight and can provide the easiest win on this patch.

Ideal Urgot Items:

  • Giant Slayer (MUST)

  • Titans + Blood Thirster

  • IE + Hand of Justice
